Number 1: The narcissist will be more hostile to other people.
Narcissists will tend to be more hostile toward other people. Narcissists have a reputation for hostility and aggressiveness toward others, especially when they are down. They may vent their anger through rage against you and others or carry out something more sinister, such as verbal abuse, emotional manipulation, or even physical violence. They are hostile, especially when someone has opposed them, insulted them, or stood in their way.
It is precisely because narcissists tend to be so hyper-sensitive that they are always on edge or easily rattled by things coming in from left field. A low tolerance irritability can lead them to react instantly and aggressively than others would, while it also becomes almost like a self-defense mechanism to push others away and distract themselves from their feelings.
