Narcissists are sick individuals who use anything they can to cause you physical, psychological, and emotional harm. Your pictures happen to be one of those many things they use. They use your photos to trigger nostalgia so that you keep coming back to them. They use your pictures to distort your public image, and they do a lot of weird things, which we are going to discuss in today’s article.
So in today’s topic, we will talk about six creepy things narcissists do with your photos. Some of these will feel like a punch in the gut because you saw it happen, yet you may not have realized it while it was happening. Read until the end.
Number 1: They delete the ones where you look the most alive
You’ll notice it when you look back through your shared albums. Those photos where your eyes were sparkling, where your smile was genuine, where you looked free, where are they now? Gone. They don’t delete all your pictures; that’s a trick. They just delete the ones that make them feel threatened, the ones where you weren’t looking at them, the ones where you radiated something too pure, too untouchable, too independent. Because those pictures contradict the narrative they were trying to build about you: that you’re broken, emotionally unstable, and that they are your savior, the calm one.
