Number 1: The Test of Total Erasure.
The narcissist did not only hurt you. They attempted to erase you, piece by piece. They took everything that made you who you are and destroyed it. Your confidence, your happiness, and your dreams are lost. You woke up one morning and did not even know who you were anymore, or they did not tell you about that initially. You were so full of pain that the laughter was a foreign thing for you now, your face one that was familiar to you like a stranger. The things that made you most real were memories now. Most individuals believe healing from narcissistic abuse is all about going back to who you were, but you receive the truth. That individual does not exist anymore.
The test was never one of going back. No, it was one of rising from the ashes. God removed all that was false so that you could be something real, something unbreakable. And even after your identity and your personality have been destroyed, you continued to emerge from your ashes like a phoenix rising from its ashes. Your destruction by fire only served to make you stronger. You are now a person who cannot be broken, a person who cannot be destroyed again.
You are not a victim anymore. You are a force, and now you can’t be stopped. You might or might not know these things yet, but this is the final destination of your healing process: to discover the spiritual reality of your pain, to live your light, and to be your purpose.
