He’s not the kind of man who will openly demand control over your finances, but, like a termite, he will slowly eat away at your resources, hollowing you out from the inside before you even realize what has happened. His existence in your life is not just a burden; it is a slow, calculated financial death.
This is the man who always plays the perpetual victim, pretending that life has dealt him an unfair hand. He uses his wife as a donkey, loading her with responsibility, pushing her to work like a slave 24/7, ensuring that the money keeps coming, and keeps flowing, while he sits back and spends it mindlessly. He does not believe in contribution. He does not believe in accountability either. His only concern is maintaining his comfort, his image, and his indulgences at any cost even if that cost is his family’s suffering. He’s never the provider, only the consumer. And he has mastered the art of draining his wife and others dry without appearing to be the obvious abuser.
