Narcissists feel entitled to behave however they please, without considering the impact on others. During conflicts, especially after going no contact, they might lash out with, “I can do whatever I want.” This declaration of power and freedom reveals their inability to respect boundaries or take others’ feelings into account.
10. “You’ll regret this.”
Threats are another tool in the narcissist’s arsenal. When they sense they’re losing control, they may issue warnings like, “You’ll regret this.” Whether explicit or implied, these threats aim to instill fear and make you second-guess your decision to leave or stand up for yourself.
11. “Nobody will ever love you like I do.”
Narcissists often use love-bombing to regain control when they feel they’re losing someone. After a breakup, they may flood you with messages, gifts, or promises, saying things like, “Nobody will ever love you as I do.” This is a manipulative tactic designed to reel you back in, only for the cycle of abuse to continue.
