2. The empath’s pure intention
A good heart always attracts good fortune, but that is only true if you have the wisdom to make good decisions as well. Empaths have the purest of hearts when it comes to love, but this love also overshadows their mind, creating delusions that narcissists are good people. They do not see the reality in front of them that they are always being abused by the narcissist. They continue to be at the narcissist’s beck and call despite being abused. Despite the empath’s pure intention, the narcissist still doesn’t care about what the latter feels. Empaths are always looked down upon by the narcissist.
1. The relationship is all about the narcissist
The relationship between narcissists and empaths is always toxic, no matter how long it is. The narcissist will always play the victim and abuse their empath partners. The empath, on the other hand, always forgives and gives the narcissist many chances to work out their relationship. This is a toxic cycle where they just repeat their situation over and over again. The narcissist will promise to change but ultimately ends up repeating the same mistakes. The empath, because of their unconditional love, easily forgets what the narcissist has done and will stay with them. This relationship makes the narcissist the center of the couple’s world, and everything always revolves around him or her. Every decision that is being made should always come from or be approved by the narcissist, whether good or bad.
